MOTHER'S DAY KITCHEN GARDEN
May 8, 2016
Gardening isn't just about weeding and planting. We like to approach each space with creative solutions. Walter had an odd shaped bed between a pea gravel walk and wall that was haphazardly planted with overgrown day lilies. We suggested putting in a small herb garden since the bed was by the kitchen door. We created a custom raised bed called a wattle fence using re-purposed rose canes from an early spring pruning. Our client couldn't be happier with his one-of-a-kind herb garden.
VEGETABLE GARDEN DESIGN AND MAINTENANCE

Not only will we help you design and install your vegetable garden, we'll happily help you maintain it with regular weeding, harvesting and succession planting.

Potager offers custom shrub winterization services, from simple wrapping with burlap to custom-built, re-usable frames with burlap covers that protect shrubs from breakage during heavy snow accumulation, which can be broken down, stored away and reconfigured from year-to-year.
“The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just the body, but the soul.”
ABOUT POTAGER GARDEN DESIGN, LLC
Making your Gardens Beautiful
Potager is a boutique garden design, build and maintenance firm in the city of Detroit. Born out of the idea that everyone should be able to grown their own vegetables at home, Potager - French for kitchen garden - was conceived to serve those who do not have the time, expertise or physical ability to grow their own, but our services don't stop there.
We also offer historic garden restoration, helping new and longtime homeowners and commercial property owners design beautiful vegetable and perennial gardens, and maintaining those gardens and landscapes.
